Jennifer has worked in the Mackay Community Sector since 1995. 

Jennifer is currently the Interim Executive Officer for Greater Whitsunday Communities and the founding director at The Village Leaders. 

2010 to 2020 Jennifer was the Chief Executive Officer at Connect Housing Group. She worked collegiately with the Board, Staff, Government and other organisations to deliver social and affordable housing solutions to the Mackay community. 

Jennifer loves to see others succeed in life so, her side hustle since 2014 was delivering one-on-one and group life coaching programs. In 2020 Jennifer wrote her book Beyond Possible - The Simple Formula For Living The Life You Desire. 

Jennifer spent 15 years working in the disability employment sector; she started as a hands-on frontline worker and built on her skills and attributes until she was offered the role of Company CEO. 

These skills and attributes include; Leadership, Corporate Governance, Corporate and Personal Coaching, Business Planning, Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, Diploma of Business, Event Management, Network Development and Coordination, Sales and Marketing Experience, Volunteer Coordination, Workshop/Meeting Facilitator and Information Technology Skills.

• Performer – Pelican Zen, Zenith Rhythms, Zinzabar, Crossroad Arts
• Volunteer Coordinator: Mackay Festival of Arts, Global Grooves, River to Reef      Festival, Artspace Mackay
• Event  Coordination – The Opening of Artspace Mackay, The Re-opening of the Old      Town Hall, Numerous Artspace Mackay Events.

In 2020 Jennifer published her book www.beyondpossible.com.au and founded www.thevillageleaders.com.au  with the aim of working with other community members to establish and grow this Social Enterprise that collaborates with other local organisations and individuals to deliver services and programs that increase community leadership across the Greater Whitsundays and provide higher education, mentoring and linkages for disadvantaged community members.
